Back from the Beach

If you're ever driving down Route 13 along the DELMARVA Peninsula make a point to take a left on Route 175 just inside the Virginia Border. I think it's also the first traffic light. Take it until it ends at Chincoteague Island. They wild ponies live on Assateague Island (national wildlife refuge). We spent Saturday at the beach. The surf was fierce, the kids weren't happy because they couldn't swim much. The undertow very strong. When I finally got out into the water past the breakers I had to continually swim/move. It was very tiring. John did some body surfing and he's got the scrapes to show for it! Bill went out a few yards and was able to bodysurf a few times. All of us had lots of sand in all the cervices. Dinner at Bill's Friday night was delish. Not having thought to make reservations we did have a 30 minute wait. A very warm weekend filled with friendship, fun and sun. Let's do it again Lukach Clan next year!
