TGIF and then some

It's already August and I've yet to accomplish half of my to-do list. There is fabric cut and waiting to be sewn into capris for the girls. Last weekend was wet & drizzly and we played tourist with out of town relatives at the themepark and waterpark. Though rainy and overcast most of the weekend we did manage to have some fun. Walking and swimming was great exercise.

This weekend...The races. Got 4 tickets to Langley Speedway. Definitely a level below Nextel Cup or Busch Races but fun just the same. Speaking of racing....Does anyone know if WalMart sponsored NASCAR?? A team? A race? When you think about the 100,000 people who pack Richmond Raceway I bet 80% of them shop at Walmart. I'm boycotting Walmart unless/until the sponsor something to do with NASCAR. You'd think the riches family in the world who became that way because of us NASCAR fans buying their stuff (made in China) would give some back to the sport. Varoom!
