Sitting here with an ear toward the TV listening to A Christmas Story. The kids are enjoying it for the first time. As a kid I remember driving into the city (NYC) with my Dad and listening to Gene Sheppard on the radio. I loved his voice. Sheppard would talk about all sorts of things I can't remember. I just recall his voice as a comfort. I'm ready for bed. The DH has snoring on the couch and I'll have to wake him so he can help bring the rest of the presents down from our closet. I guess it'll be the last year we can "hide in plain site" the gifts. I hope 2007 finds you all happy and well!
