Metallica Weekend

It's true....I was "hangin'" with the band on Friday 4/21. My daughter and I flew out to San Francisco and spent a couple hours at Metallica HQ. I filled in for my husband who actually won the trip. Our daughter is a guitar player and came along. Eight others including two guys from Germany flew in for the party. We got to meet Lars, James, Robert and Kirk, eat a few burgers and veggie dawgs, a literal feast! If you go to metallica's website you can check out the delish cake that topped off the chowdown. Oh yeah, I'm in a few photos too! OK, I will admit I wore earplugs while the band and guests did a kararoke session. The guys wore them too! Bottomline....the guys and their staff were terrific hosts/hostesses. It was a priveledge to be invited. My daughter will always remember the time she played a power cord on Kirk's guitar and sat at the drums with Lars. Metallica rocks!!
