My baby is gonna be 13!

Geez, that also means I'm 13 years older too! August 26th she'll be 13 years OLD!

Scary isn't it how fast times flies? Back when I was a kid it seems summer vacation went on forever. This year it's the same number of days as in 1965 but it's gone by quicker.

Sitting here contemplating my navel (no not really) and thinking of how much fun it would be to go back to 1965 for a week of summer vacation. Today kids say they're bored! Was I bored as a kids, sure occasionally but today kids want to be entertained, socializing and stimulated 18 hours a day! Am I right?

School begins 9/4. Don't get me started in the school supplies they're supposed to bring.....glue sticks, "big" box of tissues, dry erase markers! Next year we'll be paying for tiolet paper - watch!
