2008 and I'm feeling fine!

OK it's been almost 3 months since my last post and I'm feelin' finer that I was back in October. I'm not doing cartwheels but have lost a few pounds and am exercising more. Yipee! My husband has won us a trip to Puerto Rico for October so I'm on a mission to wear a smaller size swim suit and not feel so self conscious at the resort pool!

We had a nice holiday vacation. Didn't do much except bake, go see national treasure (nick cage and I have a birthday in common), volunteer at the Living Museum and enjoyed Christmas with the kids.

So glad Obama won the Iowa caucus. Anyone know where I can get one of those "Anybody but Hilary" bumper stickers? LMK

If you're looking for a fool proof chocolate fudge recipe try the Fantasy Fudge recipe on the Kraft Marshmallow jar. I wonder why the jar is glass. Everything is on plastic these days and I was surprised to see the marshmallow in glass. Just another thing to recycle.
